CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Beadling Inferno finishes the Director's League with a record of 4-1-2, and is moving on to the Semi-Finals and Finals at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex in New Castle, Delaware on May 10th and 11th!!! The team scored 13 goals and only allowed 3 goals in 7 games!!!!! The team, along with the U14 Beadling United Girls team, is one of the first two PA West Girls teams to make it to the Semi-Finals of Director's League. Everyone is proud of you, girls!!! Here are the game times for the Director's/Premier League Semi-Finals and Finals at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex:

• Saturday, May 10th - 1:00 pm - Field #6 - Beadling Inferno vs PDA Fire.
• Sunday, May 11th - 12:00 noon - Final and Consolation Game (games are at the same time)

Congratulations to the Beadling Inferno for being selected to participtate in the PDA College Showcase Tournament U-16 Bracket over Memorial Day Weekend. Top teams from across the USA and Canada will play in this event.

The U16 Beadling Inferno Girls Team had a great opening weekend in the Director's/Premier League this past weekend, winning their first two games of this season against tough competition in Lake Fairfax, VA.

• Game 1 - Beadling Inferno 1 - CDSA Power 0 - In spite of heavy rain, the Beadling Inferno U16 team controlled the ball and hung on to win their first full field game of the season!!!
• Game 2 - Beadling Inferno 3 - McLean Dragons 1 - In spite of wind, rain and sun, Beadling Inferno scored first and maintained the lead throughout the game, ending with a 3-1 win over a very strong McLean team.

Although not all players were able to play, both games were true team efforts: "It is amazing what you can achieve when it doesn't matter who gets the credit."

Congratulations to the entire team on a great start in the Director's/Premier League this year!!!!

• At National Soccer Ranking, the U16 Beadling Inferno Team is ranked #33 in the Nation, #7 in the Region and #1 in the State (PA West).
• At Got Soccer, the U16 Beadling Inferno Team is ranked #18 in the Nation, #8 in the Region and #1 in the State (PA West).

Congratulations and Good Luck to our team players Caroline Keefer and Taylor Schram who were selected to participate on the Region 1 '92 Girls ODP Team at the Inter-Regional Camp from February 20 - 25th in Pomona, California. ODP teams from Regions 2, 3 and 4 will also participate in the camp.

The U16 Beadling Girls Team has been selected to play in several top level tournaments this spring in addition to the Region 1 Director's/Premier League:

• The team has been selected for the Elite Division of the Jefferson Cup Premier Elite Level Tournament to be held in the Richmond Virginia area in March 2008. The Jefferson Cup is the #5 Ranked Tournament for girls in the counrty.
• The team has also been selected as one of only 18 teams to participate in the Adidas Blue Chip Showcase to be held in Cincinnati Ohio in April 2008.

Other tournament acceptances will be announces as received.

This team will also participate in a coaching demonstration at the US Youth Soccer Convention which will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA on February 8 - 10, 2008.

The Beadling Girls U-16 Team is preparing for the upcoming spring season which includes participation in the Region 1 Director's/Premier League and several Premier Tournaments. The schedule for the Region 1 Director's/Premier League is set as shown below:

• March 8th - In Reston, VA - Game 1 at 9:00 am vs CDSA Power
• March 8th - In Reston, VA - Game 2 at 2:00 pm vs McLean Dragons
• April 5th - At Canon Mac (Pgh) - Game 1 at 3:00 pm vs Foothills
• April 12th - At Canon Mac (Pgh) - Game 1 at 12 noon vs Syracuse Fury
• April 12th - At Canon Mac (Pgh) - Game 2 at 5:00 pm vs YMS
• April 26th - At Canon Mac (Pgh) - Game 1 at 10:00 am vs VA Rush Nike
• April 26th - At Canon Mac (Pgh) - Game 2 at 3:00 pm vs Vista Fury
