Bead ling Soccer Club is offering an intensive mini soccer camp before Regionals. The camp will start Thursday evening, June 24, and run thru Sunday afternoon, June 27. We believe this intensive mini-camp will better prepare those teams that will be leaving for the Regional competition one week later. The cost to players should not exceed $125. Further details will be distributed to coaches and to the web site: www.beadling.com.
Adidas to be New Beadling Sponsors
Denny Kohlmyer writes: Beadling is fortunate to be one of the few soccer clubs with sufficient prestige, history and success that manufacturers will offer sponsorships. Beginning in the Spring the club has entered into a three year contract with Adidas, one four companies which wanted to sponsor the club. This three year contract will promote significant savings to the club
Unfortunately, no manufacturers will give clubs free uniforms. What they give are discounts. The manufacturers who are after the soccer clubs' business are looking for those clubs which are most successful and visible, and then they will give bigger discounts. It has come to my attention that, although most people are excited about the new sponsorship, a few individuals are upset about the change. I want to assure them that, although the club enjoyed a good relationship with Nike for the past three years, the offer from Adidas is better. As long as I have been associated with the club our program has always been about quality and affordability. Beadling and its board of directors have always worked for what is in the best interests of our players and program.
The Beadling SC program is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive in PA West, but it is definitely the most successful. Everyone involved should take pride in that fact. We look forward to our new partnership with Adidas.
Beadling goes high tech this month with the opening of our web site www.beadling.com. Check it out. You will find the club mission statement, soccer history, photos, and more.
